"The real does not die, the unreal never lived”.

           -Sri Nisargadatta Maharaj

"The real does not die, the unreal never lived. Set your mind right and all will be right. When you know that the world is one, that humanity is one, you will act accordingly. But first of all you must attend to the way you feel, think and live. Unless there is order in yourself, there can be no order in the world."

However much we think and believe that we're living our own lives, the fact of the matter is that our lives are being lived.

You have agreed that you will die only because you have accepted from someone that you were born.

An interfaith minister, as well as a visual artist and writer, William Arthur Mills was ordained at the Cathedral of Saint John the Divine in New York City in June of 1998. Will regularly co-facilitates kirtans (call-and response sanskrit chanting) in yoga centers and ashrams in the NYC Metropolitan Area with his partner of many years, Damaru.

Rev. Will is also well known for his passionately delivered invocations to the Supreme Source Within; as well as original, heart rendering, guided meditations.  Will offers unique, custom written and designed wedding ceremonies; as well as a variety of other pastoral services. In addition, Rev. Will is a gifted spiritual councilor (MSC), available for private and group sessions.

New York City artists 'showed up' in full force for Shakti Yoga Center's Art Exhibition/Silent Auction Benefit on June 23rd, 2010. Quite an amazing day-- and an enormously successful fundraiser (curated by Richard Humphrey), benefiting Bal Ashram's beautiful orphanage in Varanasi, India. We were just informed that some of the proceeds are already earmarked to buy two cows for the orphanage- which are to be named Shakti and Lila.
